I found a treasure that really was unexpected. According to research I've done on the internet, and with the help of some folks on an antique forum, I discovered that I would up with a 1920 era Democratic Donkey Pin.
I'm debating on whether I should sell it or not, as it has been appraised, and I'm not sure it'd be worth as much as suggested. ... If so.. what should I sell it for? Where? I don't want to go to FeeBay, but I really don't know of another place I could actually auction it, since I'm not sure I want to just sell it straight for what said appraisor said it should be sold for...
Bleah.
In the meantime I panic about how I'm going to pay some of my bills, until I get my relief check in July. I'm highly displeased with my former employer, now that I've found that they've been lying about things that I've done, and the terms on which I left employment with them. Temp/Contractor companies are so untrustworthy, it's ridiculous.
I seriously doubt I will ever trust another one.

wow! sounds like it is worth lots!
Cool pin, you'll make the right decision. Best!
Wow...what a find! It's a really cute pin.
I know it's hard to decide what to do when you need the money, but I'd get several appraisals on it before you sell. You don't want to find later that you let it go for much less than it's worth.
